Videogame sounds
Need a little 'pick me up' in the music department? A new sample pack can often provide the audio Viagra you need.
With this in mind, here's some videogame themed sounds for your mangling, mashing, sampling pleasure.
First up is Doom 3, the classic super-violent shooter. And who better to make a soundset for this dark, grimy, industrial future than NIN maestro Trent Reznor.
Grab his sounds for the game here.
While we're in dystopian future territory, let's pay Half Life a visit. The classic boy-meets-crowbar love story has been ripped wide open, leaving all 800MB of sounds, music and speech exposed for all to hear. Nab them here.
Finally, something for the old skool gamers out there. Grab all the sound FX from the classic open-ended, space trading BBC game, Elite.
They are hosted here.
Now if that doesn't put the waggle back in your joystick, what will?
